Seats, bags and pickup
- A seat for everyone. Choose four or six seats, counting the driver and children. You can mix both cart sizes in one request.
- Plan your bags separately. Seating capacity does not promise suitcase space. Tell Rio your group and bag count.
Seats for up to four people
A four-seater suits a couple, friends or a family of up to four people. Count the driver and every passenger, including children. If more than four people will ride together, compare the six-seat category or request more than one cart.
The photos show Rio’s own carts with edited backgrounds. Your request is for a seating category; a particular colour, individual cart or decoration is not guaranteed. Discuss any specific vehicle feature or access need with Rio before you request.
Check your luggage plans
Passenger capacity does not describe luggage space. Tell Rio your group size and bag count before arrival, particularly after a flight or water taxi journey. Ask the team about practical arrangements rather than assuming all suitcases fit on the cart.
Delivery is free. Rio helps with your luggage at pickup and can drive you to your destination. Confirm the exact meeting point, timing and luggage arrangement with the team.
Daily and weekly rental options
Choose the pickup and return dates and times that fit your stay. Every time in the form is Belize local time, UTC−6 year-round. Each started 24-hour period counts as a rental day, and the form compares daily and weekly base rental combinations.
You can include several four-seat carts or mix both cart sizes in one request. All carts in the request share the same pickup and return details. Choose the quantity for your group before continuing.
Review the full quote before confirming
The amount shown before your request is the base rental. Your full quote separately lists the rental price, insurance, bridge passes, any busy-date extra and tax. Review the breakdown and rental conditions, then accept on that page to confirm. A private emailed link lets you return later.
A request alone is not a confirmed reservation. Quotes stay open without an acceptance deadline; rental dates and conditions still apply. No online payment is collected. Pay the accepted total at the Rio office or pickup.
Arrange pickup and return
Choose Rio Office at Belize Express Terminal, your airline or water taxi operator, or Hotel with its name. The office is staffed 8 AM–9 PM daily. Pickup times can be requested 24 hours a day; confirm the exact handover time and place with Rio.
Bring your valid driver’s licence and reservation reference. Check the cart and fuel level with the team, learn the controls, and agree the return arrangements. Return the cart with the same amount of fuel as at pickup, allowing time before your onward flight or ferry.
