Information used to arrange a rental
A reservation request asks for your name, email address, international phone number, pickup and return details, cart selection and quantity. A hotel name is required when you choose Hotel as a pickup or return location. Arrival information and additional notes are optional. These details help Rio prepare and email your full quote, record your acceptance, arrange the rental, contact you about changes, and provide booking messages. Please avoid adding sensitive information in free-text notes. If you follow a registered partner booking link, Rio also records its referral code on your request to measure referrals. That code does not change your quote or give the partner access to your guest details.
Booking messages and service providers
Your requested full quote, acceptance confirmation, arrival reminders, cancellation notices and a feedback request are transactional rental communications. A feedback request is eligible only after staff mark a rental as completed. Database, hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the reservation service. Payment details are not collected on the website.
Cookies, storage and website analytics
Customers do not need an account to reserve. Staff sign-in uses an essential session cookie. Google Analytics loads automatically on public pages to measure visits and rental request steps. Private full-quote and acceptance pages are excluded. Booking events exclude names, email addresses, phone numbers, hotel names, private reservation links and URL query values. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled.
Zoho SalesIQ chat is loaded when you choose to open Chat with Rio; the chat provider then handles the messages you choose to send. Staff pages and private reservation pages do not load these services.
Keep your private reservation link safe
Your quote email and confirmation contain a private link to the request or reservation. Anyone with that link may view the quote and limited booking details, and may be able to accept the quote, so do not post it publicly. Contact Rio if you believe the link has been shared unintentionally.
Contact and data requests
For a question about your personal information, correction or deletion request, contact [email protected]. Include your reservation reference where relevant, but do not send a password or payment card information. Rio may need to verify your identity and keep records required for the rental or applicable obligations.
Data retention periods, final hosting and email processors, and jurisdiction-specific wording must be approved by Rio before the production service opens. This staging release does not enroll visitors into marketing emails.
