Rio Belize Golf Cart Rental is based in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, at Belize Express Terminal Water Taxi. Plan the rental around the time you reach San Pedro. Your international arrival on mainland Belize is a separate stop from the island flight or water taxi journey.
Use Belize local time, UTC−6 year-round, for both pickup and return. Leave time to collect bags and meet the team, then allow another handover margin before your departing flight or ferry.
Fit the rental to your group and itinerary
Choose a four-seat cart for up to four passengers or a six-seat cart for up to six, counting children in the total. You can request a mix of both sizes if your group needs several carts. Share luggage requirements with Rio before arrival.
Decide which days you want a cart rather than assuming you need it throughout your stay. Compare the current daily and weekly base rental rates for your actual dates. Ask Rio about current routes and conditions before planning an outing farther from town.
Arrange delivery to your arrival point or hotel
Rio offers free delivery, helps with luggage and can drive you to your destination. The request form lists Tropic Air, Maya Island Air, Belize Express Water Taxi, Caribbean Sprinter Water Taxi and Rio Office at Belize Express Terminal. Choose Hotel and enter its name for hotel delivery.
Rental service hours are 6:30 AM to 11 PM daily, and the office is staffed from 8 AM to 9 PM. Confirm your meeting point and arrival time directly with Rio, including any changes to your transport. Call +501 629 3655 or +501 600 3332 if you need help coordinating the handover.
Review the full amount before confirming
Your date search shows the base rental in US dollars. Required taxes, insurance and bridge-pass charges are included in the full quote shown after your request. You can also return through the emailed link. Sending a request does not confirm the reservation: review the total and terms, then accept to confirm. Pay the accepted amount at the office or pickup; there is no online payment step.
