Pick a few stops that interest your group

San Pedro is the main town on Ambergris Caye. Airline destination pages describe its shops, food businesses, artists and crafts, with Barrier Reef Drive and Pescador Drive among the named town streets. Choose a small set of places you want to explore rather than trying to cover every listing in one outing.

A chocolate shop visit, an art gallery and a waterfront pause give the day different purposes. Check each business’s own current information, especially if you are reserving an activity. General town descriptions cannot establish whether a particular shop is open when you arrive.

Decide which part needs a cart

If you are staying nearby, a walking-only visit may suit your plans. If you need a cart to reach town, choose a suitable land arrival point and walk between nearby stops. The cart does not need to move every time you change shops.

Ask Rio about the current route and confirm where the cart may lawfully remain. Follow signs and local instructions instead of relying on old one-way directions or an assumed parking space. A landmark is useful for finding a place, but it does not establish vehicle access to its courtyard or beachfront.

Keep your walking route and meeting plan clear

Save the names of your chosen stops and agree where the group will meet if you separate. Keep valuables and purchases secure, carry water and sun protection, and leave space to change plans if the weather affects how much time you want outdoors.

For a reserved class or other appointment, allow time to find the entrance and complete that provider’s arrival process. If you add a waterfront visit, check its current access separately. A short list of planned stops is easier to adjust than a sequence built around fixed drive or walking estimates.

Arrange the rental around the whole outing

Tell Rio where you are staying, how many people will travel and your intended pickup and return details. Free hotel delivery is available; confirm the feasible handover point for the property and any separate boat connection. Review the complete rental quote before accepting.

Keep your agreed return in mind if you stay for a meal or continue into the evening. Decide who will drive and how you will get back before the day becomes a different outing. Contact Rio if you need to discuss a changed arrangement rather than assuming the rental has extended.
