Your mainland arrival is a different stop
Travelers arriving internationally usually still need to reach Ambergris Caye. Local flights and water taxis connect the island with other parts of Belize. Request your golf cart for your arrival in San Pedro, rather than your landing time at the international airport on the mainland.
Flying into San Pedro
Choose Tropic Air or Maya Island Air as your pickup location and share your flight details. Rio offers free delivery, helps with luggage, and can drive you to your destination. Confirm the precise meeting point and timing directly with Rio, particularly if you have several bags or a connection.
Flight schedules and baggage requirements change. Check those details with your airline and leave enough time for the cart handover.
Arriving by water taxi
Use your San Pedro arrival time when planning pickup. Choose Belize Express Water Taxi or Caribbean Sprinter Water Taxi and include your sailing details. Confirm the exact terminal and meeting point with Rio before traveling.
Use your water taxi operator’s current timetable for journey planning. A published timetable is not a guarantee against weather or operational delays. Contact Rio if the expected arrival changes.
A smoother handover
Keep your valid licence and reservation reference accessible instead of buried in your luggage. Explain any changes to group size or bag count in advance. For hotel delivery, choose Hotel and enter its name in the request. Confirm the arrival arrangements directly with Rio. Pay at the office or physical handover; the website does not collect a deposit.
For your return, coordinate the cart drop-off before your onward transport. Leave time for the vehicle check and luggage transfer, rather than booking a return at the same minute as your departure.
